From a planned month in Portland area we only got a couple of weeks there as we drove back to STL for some time due to some personal reasons before driving back to Southern California (lotsa driving under our belt this year 😄). This post is from travel in September – just getting around to it 🎄
After settling into our airbnb in Portland our first weekend there we drove around local foresty parks and visited Rooster Rock State Park, OR a few times, where you can walk around a beach and hike (also nude beach is a choice). The area is pretty big with lotsa parking.
We also checked out the Multnomah Waterfalls, OR, where you can take a few short hikes with your dogos.
Our second and last weekend here we drove to the coast close to Pacific City, OR. We loved driving along the Pacific coast checking out its random rocks, forests, and pretty beaches. There are lotsa lil towns with cute breweries and restaurants along the way as well.
Def will be back to check out all the peaks I saw from the airplane flying over to MI for work. Maybe one summer we get a camper van and spend 3 months driving around MT/WA/OR, sounds like a dreamy plan.
Map of this trip:

Oregon is the most dogo friendly state we have visited in the U.S. There are dogos friendly restaurants and places everywhere. 🐕🐕
