Time to go to the next temp home in Portland! We love Seattle and surrounding area; besides the traffic (and parking 😆) this is a great place to live.
We planned a lil detour to check out the Olympic NP, WA, so first day we drove to Port Angeles, WA for the night. We were able to get the park’s map at the Hurricane Ridge entrance and drove up the road all the way to the end with a great view.
Next day we hopped on 101 and continued driving around the park stopping at Crescent Lake, Lake Pleasant, and Lake Quinault. We wanted to see the rainforest, but dogos aren’t allowed on the trail, so we continued down south to the shore. We checked out the beaches by Kalaloch Lodge on the way.
When we got to Ocean Shores, WA we hit the pollution from the close wild fires, so it wasn’t a glory being outside. We walked to the local beach, which was our first time on beach hwy. I am not a fan, but we had to try it. I think the dogo on the beach in our lil Honda pic is pretty cool. 😂
We were ready to settle down in our next airbnb, so we didn’t make any other stops on the way to Portland.

In Olympic NP there are a few places you can go to with ur dogos (u get a list of those an an entrance), otherwise dogos aren’t allowed on any trails. All other places were super dogo friendly.🐕🐕
“Czech The Box Summary” – Krátce a Stručně Česky (na anglické klávesnici)
Nastal cas se prepravit do Portlandu, OR po mesici v Seattlu. Z Washingtonu sme odjizdeli neradi, je tam krasne (mimo zacp a parkovani).
Naplanovali jsme si okruk kolem Olympic Narodniho parku, ktereho hory jsou videt ze Seattlu. Dva dny jsme jeli kolem parku, a zajizdeli dovnitr na ruzne zajimave mista vetsinou u nejakych jezer a taky na plaz na jihu parku.
Pak jsme na noc zajeli do Ocean Shores, coz je hezky turisticky mestecko u plaze. No byla to nase prvni projizdka autem po plazi, tady mistni vysedavaji v autech a divaji se na vlny z auta, dokonce je plaz pouzivana jako silnice kdyz jsou normalni cesty zacpane. Je to nic moc pro lidi co se radi prochazeji po jemnem pisku, ale ocean je vzdy fajn. Jeste k tomu tam bylo dost spatny ovzdusi kvuli ohnum kousek od tama, tak jsme rano jeste mrkli na plaz a vyjeli se zabydlet do dalsiho bytecku v Portlandu.
